Terms & Conditions

It is the responsibility of the participant to ensure….

1. You must tell me if you are unwell before a class, get injured, or do not join in until we chat.

2. You must stop if you have any pain during a class and tell me.

3. There is sufficient space to perform the exercises safely and move freely without obstacles or obstructions, free from furniture, equipment, and other hazards-a minimum of 4 square meters per person.

4. There are no distractions throughout the session, and you agree to wear appropriate exercise clothing, non-slip socks or bare feet and no earrings.

5. There is sufficient heating, lighting, ventilation, and hydration.

6. You agree not to give anybody else the zoom link and agree not to let children participate.

7. If anything changes in your health status since completing the Health questionnaire Par Q, you agree to inform Rachel Charlton before the next class and not partake.

8. You must not join the class part way through or under the influence of drugs or alcohol or be chewing gum.

9. You do not participate in the class if you think that you may be pregnant.

10. You agree that because this is a virtual class, you will get visual and audio teaching, which will be different from a face-to-face class. Rachel has enhanced the way she teaches by doing most of the routine with you.

That way, you can continually look back at the screen if you forget the move, and she talks more through the class with instructions.

11. You agree to tell Rachel during the class if you get stuck or are unsure; however, if you want detailed one-to-one support, that is possible at the end of most zooms as well.

 • In addition, the following disclaimer applies. As with all fitness and exercise programmes, when using the exercise recorded video, you need to make sure you agree to stop if you feel any pain at any time. Performing Pilates without supervision, you are performing them at your own risk so take extra care. Rachel Charlton will not be liable for any injury or harm you sustain due to doing the live videos or recorded.

 12. You also need to make sure you have sought GP guidance before you begin if you need to. You understand that taking part in any exercise may have risks associated with and, worse case, death and that it is solely your responsibility to look after yourself.

13. If you attend any classes run by other instructors, they will be responsible for ensuring your workout is safe and effective.

14. After your week free trial, you agree to pay monthly for your membership, and you can stop at any time. If you are unhappy, you can request a month’s payment back within the month you tell me.

15. If you decide to leave me, you are very welcome to come back at any time, and you can still stay as part of my FREE community Pilates Plus More group on Facebook.
